Mackerel is unfairly considered a poor fish. Belonging to the family of oily fish, it has a consistency and flavour very different from tuna. However, apart from the possible health benefits, there are many who much prefer the flavour of mackerel.
The Calvi Mackerel in olive oil is processed fresh by hand and jarred with a good olive oil preserving all the taste of the fish.
Mackerel is rich in minerals, vitamins and omega 3, for this reason and for many others, it is a great product to always have in the pantry.

Uses
Perfect to use as it is alone, to garnish salads or an ingredient for a sauce prepared at the last minute. For example, mixed with fried onion and a pinch of chilli pepper and served with spaghetti. Try making a paté, adding some cream and using it as a spread on toasted bread for a delicious aperitif or appetizer. Storage instructions
Store in a cool dry place, away from heat sources. Once opened, ensure that the product is covered in oil, top up if necessary, and keep refrigerated (+4°C). Consume within 3 days.
