A genuine Italian speciality. Produced and bottled for us in the Modena area and certified IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) and a natural complement to the Calvi Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (Aceto Balsamico di Modena) is made from grape must blended with wine vinegar, and produced exclusively in either Modena or Reggio Emilia.
The Calvi Balsamic Vinegar is free from additional colourings or thickeners,

Uses
With its unique taste and intense flavour, Balsamic Vinegar is distinguished for its versatility. Thanks to its excellent balance of sweet and sour, it combines very well with extra virgin olive oil to make a delicious dressing for cooked and raw vegetables and for preparing vinaigrette. Use sparingly in sauces and marinades, risottos, and vegetable dishes, or in fruity or frozen desserts. Also great alone, on vegetables, cheeses and even fruit!
Try it on flakes of parmesan, on strawberries, fish and in the preparation of meat.

Storage instructions
Balsamic vinegar, like all vinegars, should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct light and heat sources. For example, in the pantry or a kitchen cabinet. In addition, once opened keep the bottle tightly sealed.
