The Calvi tuna in water: a natural alternative to our Tuna in oil. Especially appreciated because it is very light and easily digestible.
Obtained from the small Yellowfin Tuna (Thunnus Albacares) and prepared in the traditional way, steam cooked, processed and packed by hand, this tuna is preserved in brine rather than in olive oil.
By storing it in water it highlights the tuna’s strong flavour and aroma.
The Calvi Tuna is always greatly appreciated thanks to its frank flavour, its intense aroma and lively pink colour, the result of a work carried out to the highest standard.

Uses
A great product to always have in the kitchen. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, excellent tasted as a main dish, seasoned simply with a drizzle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for light and fresh salads or as a delicious sandwich filling but also equally valid as a support for more elaborate recipes.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool dry place, away from heat sources. Once opened, ensure that the product is covered in oil, top up if necessary, and keep refrigerated (+4°C). Consume within 3 days.
